California Highway Patrol officers used a PIT maneuver to end the pursuit of a driver who then violently tussled with authorities after crashing near Simi Valley.
Video footage captured a driver brawling with California Highway Patrol officers following a chase Sunday.
The incident happened after CHP officers pursued a man through the San Fernando Valley, KTTV-TV reports. The chase ended when the officers used a PIT maneuver that led to the driver crashing.
After the crash, the suspect got out of the vehicle and began to violently tussle with two officers. A third officer eventually arrived at the scene, and the man was taken into custody.
